View all services →Latent Digital Solutions is a Dubai-based OpenAI consulting company that builds GPT-powered systems on the OpenAI API and Azure OpenAI: assistants that answer from your own documents, workflows that take routine work off your team, and integrations with the software you already run. We prototype first, so you see it working before you commit to the full build.
Access to a model is easy to buy. A working system inside your business is not. We close that gap at a size and price that fits a mid-size UAE company, without you needing to be anyone's flagship account.
Latent Digital Solutions FZCO, UAE Trade Licence No. 72640, based in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
A working version of one workflow before you commit to a full build, so the value is visible early.
GDPR and UAE PDPL aligned by default, with a signed NDA before any detail of your project is discussed.
Source code, prompts, test sets and configuration are assigned to your company, not licensed to it. The model accounts and API keys sit in your own account, so nothing depends on us to keep running.
A snapshot of software we have built for teams in the UAE and internationally. Every project is covered by an NDA; where clients allow attribution, we name them; otherwise we describe the work anonymously.
Ask questions in plain language and get answers drawn from your contracts, policies, manuals and internal documents, with the source shown so people can check it.
Pull structured data out of invoices, contracts, forms and reports, and route the exceptions to a person instead of guessing.
First-draft replies, triage and answers for support, sales and operations teams, with a person approving anything sensitive.
Systems that take the routine steps of a process end to end, calling your tools along the way and stopping to ask when they are unsure.
Connect models to your CRM, ERP, email, WhatsApp and internal tools through their APIs, so the AI works where your team already works. This is the OpenAI integration consulting most projects actually need.
A test set that defines what a correct answer is, checks that stop a bad output reaching a customer, and monitoring once the system is live.
You do not need a very large engagement to benefit. We start with one workflow, prototype it on your real examples, and only expand if it earns its place. Our guide explains what OpenAI consulting involves and what a smaller business should do instead of hiring a large firm.
Connecting GPT models to the systems your team already runs, such as your CRM, ERP, email and WhatsApp, so the AI works inside existing processes instead of beside them.
For larger organisations: access controls, audit logging, evaluation before release, and clear answers on where data is processed and stored. Our enterprise AI security guide covers what a security review should ask.
We are an independent implementation team: we scope, build and hand over the system, with the code and model accounts in your name. Our checklist sets out how to evaluate any implementation partner before you commit.
The models are the same family. What differs is where they run, how you buy them, and what data-residency promises come with them. We work with both, and we tell you plainly what each can and can't promise before you choose.
Usually the better fit if you already run on Microsoft's cloud, or if procurement and security review favour infrastructure your IT team has already approved. You pay through your existing Azure agreement, with Azure's access controls and networking around it.
Often simpler if you have no Microsoft footprint: less setup, and direct access to OpenAI's own platform features. OpenAI now lists the UAE as a supported data-residency region for eligible business customers, subject to OpenAI's approval.
We build with the model provider behind a clean interface, so moving between OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or another provider is a configuration change, not a rewrite.
This is where the two routes differ most, and where marketing claims outrun the facts. On Azure, deployments can sit in the UAE North region and data stored at rest stays in the region, but for most current GPT models the processing itself can happen outside the UAE unless you use reserved-capacity deployments, which cost more. OpenAI offers UAE data residency on approval. Availability changes quickly, so we confirm the current position for the model you need before recommending anything, and design around it: for example, keeping storage, search and sensitive fields on UAE infrastructure.
AI projects shouldn't start with a large budget and a long plan. We start narrow: one workflow, one measurable outcome.
About a week. We learn how the process works today, where the time goes, and what data it touches.
We pick the single workflow most likely to show clear value, and agree what a correct result looks like before anything is built.
Typically within two weeks. We build a working version you can use on real examples.
We compare it against the agreed test set and the current manual process: accuracy, time saved, exceptions.
Usually weeks, not months. We harden it, connect it to your systems, and hand over a system your team can run, with documentation.
Stalled AI projects usually stall on data, integration and adoption, not on the model. We plan for those first.
OpenAI-powered systems for the sectors driving business in Dubai and the wider region.
Reading shipping documents, answering "where is my order" queries, and drafting dispatch communications.
Handling enquiries, summarising tenancy and sale contracts, and searching internal document libraries.
Extracting data from KYC and onboarding documents, and internal search across policies and procedures.
Administrative and documentation workflows, built compliance-first. Not clinical decision-making.
Product content at scale, order and returns support, and internal assistants for store and operations teams.
First-draft proposals and reports, and search across past work and internal knowledge.
Under OpenAI's API terms, data you send is not used to train its models unless you opt in. Microsoft states the same for Azure OpenAI, and adds that your prompts and outputs are not available to OpenAI.
Providers keep abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, with zero-retention options for eligible use. We set out the storage, processing and retention position for your project in writing before build.
Anything sensitive, unusual or low-confidence is routed to a person for approval instead of being sent automatically.
Role-based access to what the system can see and do, plus a log of what it did and why. Built to UAE PDPL and GDPR expectations, with OWASP-aligned security practice.
A short, fixed engagement to pick the right workflow, check your data, and agree what success looks like.
A working version on real examples, measured against the agreed test set.
Hardening, integration with your systems, security review and handover.
A monthly retainer to monitor quality, handle model updates and extend what works.
What does OpenAI consulting involve?
Working out where a GPT-based system will genuinely help, then building it and connecting it to your data and tools. In practice that means scoping one workflow, prototyping it on real examples, measuring the result, and taking it into production if it earns its place.
How do I choose an OpenAI consultant or consulting company in the UAE?
Look for a team that scopes one workflow first, prototypes on your real data before a full commitment, is clear about Azure OpenAI versus the OpenAI API for your data-residency needs, and assigns you ownership of the system and accounts. Our guide to OpenAI consulting explains what the work involves and what a smaller business should do instead of hiring a very large firm.
Do I need OpenAI's own consulting arm to build a GPT-based system?
No. OpenAI's own embedded engineering team is built for very large clients. The same underlying models are available to any business through the standard API or through Azure OpenAI, and an implementation partner sized for your project can build on them. Our plain-English guide to OpenAI consulting explains the difference.
Should we use Azure OpenAI or the OpenAI API?
Usually the one your existing IT decisions already point to. Azure OpenAI tends to suit businesses already on Microsoft's cloud or with procurement and data-residency requirements; the OpenAI API is often simpler if you have no Microsoft footprint. We work with both and explain the trade-off before you commit.
How much does an OpenAI project cost in the UAE?
It depends on scope, which is why we start with one workflow and a working prototype rather than a large upfront commitment. The main drivers are how many systems have to be integrated, the quality of your data, and how much human review the output needs. Our guide to what UAE AI projects actually bill, in AED breaks the numbers down, and we give a fixed estimate for the discovery and prototype stages up front.
How long does it take?
Faster than a typical software project. Discovery takes about a week, a first working prototype usually lands within two weeks, and production is normally a matter of weeks rather than months, depending mainly on how many of your systems it has to connect to.
Is our data safe, and is it used to train the models?
Under OpenAI's API terms, and under Microsoft's terms for Azure OpenAI, the data you send is not used to train the underlying models by default. Providers keep abuse-monitoring logs for a limited period (up to 30 days on the OpenAI API by default), and zero-retention options exist for eligible use. On our side, we apply role-based access, keep an audit log, route sensitive output to a person, and work to UAE PDPL and GDPR expectations under a signed NDA.
Can our data stay in the UAE?
Sometimes fully, sometimes partly, and it depends on the route and the model. On Azure OpenAI you can deploy in the UAE North region and your stored data stays in the region, but for many current models the processing can happen outside the UAE unless you use reserved-capacity deployments. OpenAI offers UAE data residency to eligible business customers on approval. Because this changes quickly, we check the current position for the model you need before we recommend a route, and we design the system so storage, search and sensitive fields stay on UAE infrastructure wherever possible.
Can it connect to our existing systems, such as our CRM, ERP or WhatsApp?
Yes. Most of the value comes from the integration: the model reads from and writes to the systems your team already uses, through their APIs. Where a system has no API, we can often work through the interface instead, which we would scope and test in the prototype.
Why not just use ChatGPT Enterprise?
For general drafting and research it may be all you need, and we will say so. A custom system earns its cost when the work depends on your private data, has to plug into your systems, needs a specific structured output, or has to run without someone typing a prompt each time.
Who owns the system, and who maintains it afterwards?
You do. Source code, prompts, test sets and configuration are assigned to your company, and the model accounts and API keys sit in your own account, so nothing depends on us to keep running. We hand over documentation, and can either support the system on a retainer or leave your team to run it.
Do you only work with companies based in Dubai?
No. We're based in Dubai and work with teams across the UAE, the wider GCC and internationally. Being local means faster response times and in-person meetings when they help, not a limit on who we work with.

OpenAI now has a formal consulting arm with a reported $10 million entry point. What that means, and what a smaller business does instead.
