Web + mobile dispatch for a 55-truck refrigerated freight fleet
A refrigerated-transport operator running a 55-truck cold-chain fleet had dispatch, driver records and maintenance on paper and Excel. We built a web + mobile system with driver, truck and maintenance tracking, plus real-time location and delivery updates.
The challenge
Xfreightlines runs a 55-truck refrigerated-transport fleet with strict cold-chain conditions. Daily dispatch, driver licence tracking, truck maintenance and material pickup were being managed on pen, paper and Excel, and there was no centralised system for stakeholders to work off.
As the fleet grew, the paper-based approach couldn't keep up. Proof of delivery was hard to trace. Truck maintenance ran on memory. Drivers had no reliable channel to send location updates back to dispatch.
